FAST PICTURE VIEWER FOR MAC SOFTWARE

I did really think about just moving to light room, but Aperture is fine for my needs, my wife is familiar with it. I assume it's entirely non destructive in terms of metadata and the like? Tenton mentioned using FastPictureViewer, which looks like it wouldД«e quite a good fit. I shoot raw+jpeg (makes things easier for my wife in post when she just wants to get going, though I might see about moving her off that, we'll see) What I'd like to able to use it for is to 'triage' my photos at the end of the day (I'm going on safari), mainly for seeing the ones that are definitely junk to just delete them, though also noting those ones that I like a lot to keep on the machine as I go would be good, it would also allow me to run crashplan when I have wifi and get them truly backed up.ДЄssuming I was brutal about things (burst mode will do that to you) I can then likely keep three copies of everything I really like (drive/card/laptop) and two of the ones I think might be okay (drive/card) and if I run out of cards I can just format one of the previous days without worry. It has a relatively small SSD (256MB) but I take a back up drive too.

I do all my PP/organising in Aperture at home, but the laptop I have with me on holidays is a windows (7) one.

It is somewhat windows specific in my case.
